Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rice
  • ½ tbsp Fenugreek seeds
  • ½ tbsp thin Poha
  • ½ cup grated Coconut
  • ½ small cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tbsp dry yeast.
  • ½ tbsp salt

Instructions
 

  • take a big bowl and put 1 cup of rice in it.
  • add ½ tbsp Fenugreek seeds.
  • Put water in it and leave it for 5 hours.
  • Now after 5 hours all the water has to be removed from it and put in the mixer.
  • add ½ cup thin Poha
  • add ½ cup grated Coconut, grind in a mixer paste is ready.
  • take a new bowl and add ½ small cup warm water and add 2 tbsp sugar.
  • add ½ tbsp dry yeast. leave for 5 mins.
  • dry yeast is activated. add paste.
  • mix well. leave for 5 hours and keep in a warm place.
  • now the batter is ready to make appam add ½ tbsp salt.
  • The gas has to be turned on, now take a pan, keep the gas slow, and the batter has to be put in the pan. After pouring the batter, the pan has to be given a shape by rotating it in a circular motion. cover the pan for 2 mins keeps the gas medium flame.
  • Then you have to check, you will see that the batter will automatically separate strictly.
  • Now take it on the plate

Notes

(You can use fresh coconut or dry coconut, either of them)
