Ingredients
- 1 cup besan / gram flour
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- ¼ tbsp baking soda
- ½ tbsp salt
- ½ tbsp kashmiri red chilli power / Lal mirch powder
- ¼ tbsp turmeric / haldi
- pinch of asafoetida / hing
- water as required
- oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Take a bowl and add 1 cup besan flour add 2 tbsp rice flour.
- then add ¼ tbsp baking soda in it, add 1/2 tbsp salt, then add pinch of hing , 1/¼bsp turmeric and then ½ tbsp red chilli powder.
- Then pour water according to the need, there should not be any bales, remember the solution should not be too thick or thin as shown in the photo.
- Then pour the solution directly into the hot oil and fry until it becomes brown and crispy.
- finally ready to eat kara boondi (serve it)
